Overview: This map was created for visitors to get a better idea of the Windmill Bistro ground’s layout so they could see everything the Bistro had to offer.
Analysis: All of the pieces of the map needed to be separate in order for it to be programmable to be interactive. The client requested that the map looked like a watercolor painting but also captured the real look of the buildings within the grounds.
Solutions: I designed the Windmill Bistro maps by creating individual digital watercolor paintings of each of the buildings, then unifying them into a fully-layered map of the grounds and labeled. As an added feature, each of the building assets can be framed and displayed on their own as wall decor.
